The first Info Day under LAG Fruska gora – Danube Region

The first meeting in the form of Info Day, within the initiative for Local Action Group in Fruska Gora – Danube Region establishment, was held on 16th January 2015 in Nestin.

The meeting was addressed to rural and development of agriculture and 25 representatives were participated, coming from all 3 sectors: local authorities – BackaPalanka Municipality (LED Office, Tourist Organization and members of local Parliament) and representatives, both from business and civil sectors. The audience was very active showing huge interest in subjects related to sustainable development and instruments to obtain it on regional level through LAG and also, asking for various information related to availability of EU funds in next 5 years in Republic of Serbia.

The Info Day was announced in the morning before the meeting through interview with one member of local Parliament on local TV BAP and after the meeting, the extracted video material was released on same TV station.
