Row to the fullest

The transportation is organised from Novi Sad to Backa Palanka and “Tikvara” on the Danube River. After rowing training canoes are descended, followed by the catamaran “floating island”. The route passes under the bridge between Backa Palanka and Ilok, into the Nestin distributary and the Susek Danube to Sasic’s Eyot where the “floating island” offers a short rest and a lunch to the canoers. Afterwards the rowing is continued through Futog distributary, by the Love Island, Beocin Eyot, rakovica distributary and “The Gates of Novi Sad” to the Strand. The departure from Novi sad is scheduled for 7:30 AM and the arrival is planned for 6:30 PM, every day throughout the year (except when the weather is bad).
